Yeah, hm, well, okay, here's another super rapid update. I've been gadding about as usual. Last weekend I was in Switzerland, visiting Veronika in Brugg, Kate from Sydney in Geneva (with Veronika) and Reto in Zurich (for brunch with Veronika). Veronika was a total star, putting me up both nights and driving me all over the place. She even acted as my personal bank, saving me the hassle of getting Swiss francs out.

Among the highlights of my time in Switzerland were cheese in its many glorious forms, solid and fondue; chocolate; snow (!); and more cheese, along with other yumminesses. It was fabulous to catch up with Kate, who I haven't seen since Dec '05 in Sydney, and Reto, who I haven't seen since Apr '04 in Thailand. Pity my train home again from Zurich was six minutes delayed leaving, which meant I missed my connection, which meant I had a bit of a nightmare dash across southern Germany and ended up an hour late in Munich. But it was all good.

I'm off to Berlin tomorrow for Easter with Michaela, staying at Caro & Anton's place. I wish you all a very Happy Easter!!
