Well, would you look at that! It's not even been a week since my last post (not that I'm about to pop my clogs, folks) and already I'm writing a new one. Wow! Bet I can't keep it up though...
Anyway, just a quickie to say that I've shoved a whole load of new photos onto my website, thanks to now having internet at home again - of sorts; my ISP Alice have managed to cock it all up, and now I've got access, but not under my own telephone number. Basically, I'm surfing for free until they get their act together and untangle my account from someone else's. Ah well.
So please have a look at my holiday snaps from Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Finland and England. They're cool, and a few of you will find yourselves immortalised on the internet!
This weekend just gone I had a lovely day out in the mountains with Lorna. We walked up Wank Mountain (no, really) and I ate some fat German sausage in the Wank House at the top. Then Lorna and I scraped all the hot custard off our dumplings and slurped it up in delight. I got all hot and sweaty reaching the top of that Wank, you know, and it lasted for hours! I was sore afterwards though.
Back in Munich (after a quick drink in an Irish pub in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, whence we set out on our Wank day) Lorna & I met Phil at Outland, the Aussie bar, and we ran into my mate Rich and his mate Martin. They had been drinking all day watching the rugby, and we ended up several beers later at KunstParkOst. The way you do with a rucksack full of soggy clothes and after walking all day in the mountains.
The weather is still insanely balmy for late October. Pity we didn't have much in the way of sun for Wank, but Sunday turned out to be a gorgeous day. I enjoyed the sun indirectly, first by hanging lampshades in my flat (it's looking very cosy now) and then by going for coffee & cake (a German institution) at my friend Thomas' house with Matthias & Tobias. A lovely outing!
I think I'll stop there.
