Alrighty! This is my first posting from abroad. Amsterdam, to be precise.

I am here with Gareth in EasyInternetCafe, where we eventually found a PC that didn't have a knackered mouse.

The weather is excellent, nobody has offered to sell me drugs yet and I'm getting ready for some serious food this evening with Jo & Gareth. If this is European summer, I like it!

(It seems this blog is plagued by technical problems. Let's see if it's up this time...)

Hm, technical issues are worrying me slightly. But not overmuch. I mean, it's only technology.

With any luck I'll get the hang of this blogging thing sooner or later.

Still not quite finished around the flat. Almost there now. Must pack tonight.

Okay, this is a first attempt with the new blog.

I'm rushing about like a mad thing trying to get my flat ready for renting out. It's more or less there. Just got to clean up.

Then on Friday the "cavalcade of glee" (as one slightly deranged friend put it) makes its way to Amsterdam to pop in on Jo.
